ROLE:     The Housekeeper safeguards the interests of the owners by maintaining he physical condition of property and equipment according to company guidelines/standards, and protecting the property and equipment from damage, loss and deterioration.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be team oriented
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be responsible, punctual and reliable
  • Must have the availability to work a flexible schedule any day of the week
  • Requires being detailed oriented and have the ability to communicate effectively
  • Previous housekeeping experience in the hotel, commercial office and/or apartment industry preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety precautions and cleaning equipment application and operation

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs common area maintenance, including but not limited to: moping, sweeping, waxing, washing, dusting all surfaces; vacuuming carpeted areas in office, clubhouse, fitness center, model (if applicable), laundry room, and restrooms. This includes cleaning of furniture, windows, blinds, floors, laundry machines, sinks, mirrors, toilets and all gym equipment.  Restocking of paper products in the restrooms and kitchen.
  • Organizes the work volume weekly. 
  • Reports inventory of supplies needed to owner or site manager.
  • Completes service requests that pertain to housekeeping issues for new move-in, models or for common hallways
  • Adheres to established policies related to fair housing.
